The hostel was like staying at friend's place, more like apartment than a hostel, it was very nice. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Beds were quite uncomfortable and rooms could not be locked, but security locker was available. Very good, we really enjoyed that weekend in Budapest in Maxim Hostel! Owner´s are lovely, welcoming and you immediatly have this home-feeling which makes your stay quite cosy. Location, Character and Staff are great. The Cleanliness is like in a tidy share-house, okay but don´t expect hotel-standards. We´d love to come back! Alexander, from Germany ~ 9th Aug 2011
