dirty sheets the first night, had to change them ourselves, droped the dirty sheets on the floor. couple days later cleaning staff took dirty sheets from the floor and put them back on our bed. internet only works in the common area which you will be asked to leave latest at midnight. payed out own transport to the hostel although they said a Tuk Tuk would pick us up - no refund. Boring atmosphere. Prices in their restaurant are to high for what you get. Don´t buy trips at Hostel cuz overpriced Hendrik, from Germany ~ 3rd Feb 2012

Very nice and clean, however, not the cheapest in Phnom Penh! The restaurant is also on the pricey side, but never had a better breakfast (omlette) and dinner on my trip!! They are not pushy with trips, they are very relaxed, good english... Had Fun there! Amir, from Germany ~ 3rd Jan 2012

First the good things. The cleanliness is very good and the queen beds are a nice touch. Now the bad, everything is quite far, except but the wat phnom that you will see only once. Restaurants and stuff are 10 mins walking distance. The common area closes at 12pm with a guy pushing you to close your laptop and turning lights off, it was really annoying considering the fact that the wireless in the 5th floor didnt work (and i got to work!). A fantastic hostel. They've got a pool table downstairs with a very cool bar too. Food is tasty but quite expensive for Cambodia. Wifi is fast but only works downstairs and there's only one PC for guests to use but the rooms are huge and very clean and modern. I had a great time here and I'd recommend it to anyone. Even the dorms have a huge bed: 140x200. Awesome, never saw this before in a dorm! Place is cose to the riverfront - so it takes some couples of minutes to go to the pubs - really great! Jens, from Germany ~ 22nd Oct 2011

I had a great night staying at Me Mates Place. I arrived at 5pm and left at 8am the next morning, but the staff there (Johnnie) made my time amazing.The rooms were clean and super comfortable. I grabbed a breakfast burrito for the bus ride in the morning and it was great. They arranged everything for me and made my travel so much easier.Thanks! Meredith, from USA ~ 24th Sep 2011
