The location is right in the ancient street, very convenient and easy to find. We booked a twin en suit, but toilet did not work, we have to use the public one. Staff are cold and not friendly. It's not worth for the money and high rating. Minh, from Vietnam ~ 17th Apr 2012

Build in an old house at PingJiang road, feel like you ve been to hundred years ago, but same for the tempreture too, be prepared for the non-heater room if you go in winter. Definitely will stay here again for my next Summer visit in SuZhou HO FEI, from China ~ 23rd Feb 2012

Great location, rooms are clean but there is a very bad smell in the bathroom. Unfortunately hot water is very limited, despite them saying there is hot water until 12pm, you'll be lucky to get water after 10am. Staff are extremely helpful. I think I would stay here again. Avoid the restaurant though, not enough staff means a long wait for poor food. There are loads of food options nearby. Robert, from Ireland ~ 4th Feb 2012

The mingtown Suzhou deserves its high ratings. Its in a beautiful ancient building on the best ancient street in Suzhou, and still manages to be warm and welcoming. Our room was small, but it was clean and had a comfy four-poster bed!
