I got a private room for my boyfriend and I when we went to visit Columbia U. Considering it was half the cost of what a hotel with all other basics the same, it was a good deal. The issues- the TV had a weird issue with getting stuck on certain channels (not too important to me but annoyed my boyfriend), the bed was on the hard side, and the walls were pretty thin. I'm a lighter sleeper but there wasn't any noise so loud I couldn't sleep. If I didn't sleep, it was because of the bed. Audrey, from USA ~ 24th Apr 2012

WOW!!!!!! What a great deal at a wonderful price!!!!!! We stayed in a private suite with bathroom and kitchen, and it was so roomy and comfortable for us! We felt like wre had our own little apartment. Staff is friendly and easy to work with. Very helpful, and the room was super clean! They came to clean every day! Good to stay in for few nights. Elevator didn't smell good. I had no problems but I was a little worried about my bags when I left them in the storage room for few hours as check-in time is 14:00 and I got in the hotel around 8:30am. Shower was excellent, very good and nice hot water. TV also very good. Bed so so, I had a old bed in my bedroom but was ok to sleep. Average of the hotel is good. The walls are thin (like REALLY "i can hear the person in the next room blow their nose" thin"), the sprinkler in our room hat HAIR! (we called it Günther and tried to lie underneath it...), wifi is downstairs only and there's not even a chair to sit on... but at least it's relatively close to the subway Laura, from Germany ~ 1st Jan 2012
