Nightingale Hostel in Sofia, Bulgaria

There is definitely more in this hostel, than what meets the eye. I was a little shocked in the beginning, because it is more a large flat, used as a hostel. But it is absolutely well acquiped and the guy who runs it is a real tresure. He knows all you need to know for an interesting stay in Sofia and he will do all he can to make your stay enjoyable. Nightingale Hostel is absolutely amazing. The small, comfortable feel easily conforms to whatever group may be there. Open 24 hours (each group gets a key to the front door) and with friendly, outgoing staff, this hostel has great character and unlimited fascination. We had an excellent stay at The Nightgale Hostel. My girlfriend and I stayed here during a month Interrailing around Europe, Sofia was our first stop and, having just finished our trip, we've agreed this is our favourite stay of the trip. The owner is a great guy, he made us feel really welcome at the hostel and I think we can safely our time in Sofia wouldn't have been the same or as good as it was if it wasn't for him, his family and the Nightingale hostel.
