Our stay at the Nomad can only be described as outstanding. At the time we were there we were celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary so it was a special occasion for us. The kindness and warmth that Peter showed us, as to all the guests has made our trip all the more memorable. We left feeling we had made a friend of this quietly spoken, gentleman. Thank you again. We loved Nomad.As others had indicated Shuhe was much more enjoyable than Lijiang and Nomad's owner, Shangwei is amazing!She helped us make onward travel plans, offered to store luggage while we hiked Tiger Leaping Gorge and offered vegetarian tips.Would definitely go back and recommend wholeheartedly to others.
