Everything I could say is good. Some hostels are like hotels but this is one where people tend to interact and get to know each other. The dinners they serve are good and woth the money. This is a party hostel. They have a bar in the main room of the place. You don't have to drink if you don't want to. Most people would really like this place Ed, from USA ~ 29th Apr 2012

Oasis hostel is probably one of the best options for you to stay in during your visit in Lisbon. I really appreciate the community atmosphere, kind and sympathetic approach of the staff and the possibility of friendly meetings with other travelers in common space (e.g. at the dinner or in the 'bar' after). I was in Lisbon during the Santo Antonio festival, so I think it was definitely crazier than normal. great location though, definitely one of those party hostels, so it is definitely recommended for a younger crowd. Breakfast was good, staff extremely helpful. Would be better if there were a couple of extra bathrooms Nicole, from USA ~ 3rd Aug 2011
