Although this hostel is about 20 min by train away from the city centre, we absolutely recommend to stay there. The staff is superfriendly and very helpful. It was no problem for us to check in in the middle of the night and they arranged storage for our baggage for two weeks while we were in Thailand. Our private room was very big, had a TV, free W-Lan, a fan and a brand-new air con. There is a nice place around the corner where you can have a traditional singapore breakfast. To get to the city

One Florence Close was GREAT! It was exactly what we were looking for and needed - an uber clean, quiet place with a friendly, helpful staff that was not in your face. We booked two nights, and then ended up missing our flight, so we called from the airport and Cynthia simply held our room for us to stay a third night. She was soooooo nice! It is a great little place to stay in!! The location is a bit away from the centre of town, though the metro station and bus station is like, just two minutes walk. There is also great local fare to be tried at the Nasi lemak coffee shop.... Overall a clean, well maintained place to stay.

A Quiet property near an MTS station, so convienent for travel all over Singapore. Great Hawker Centre 30m from Hostel with good cheap food 24 hrs a day. They keep cat's so if you have an allergy to them stay away. Rooms small but clean with basic facilities. Showers are great and clean.

It's very close to Kovan MRT, which is on the new MRT line that can take u directly to Chinatown, Clark Quaye etc. A bit far from city centre, but easy & cheap transport using the MRT. Lots to eat around the place within 5 min walk. It's one of the best hostels I've stayed in asia. It's newly renovated so it lacks a bit of character in the building, but overall it's great. I've already booked for more nights for my return next month.

Really welcoming hostel. Location isn't great in terms of being central but it is very close to the metro and a great hawker market. Also has two great cats that were excellent company for my wife and I who were missing our two at home.

Extremely clean, very friendly, very close to MRT Kovan station and a big mall. They also have two cats that love to be cuddled by guests. I absolutely recommend it. I am coming back to Singapore soon and I will stay there again.
