One Step Independence Square Hostel in Santiago, Ukraine

Kind staff, great location, close to the metro and shops in the main street. Grocery store across the street. Clean rooms. Great value for money. Avoid rooms no 6-8 since people sit outside your door near the micro wave oven chatting all night leaving little peace to sleep. Go for the rooms in the corridor to the right. The staff are wonderful you might have to talk to them a bit to get them to open up (with the notable exceptions of Robert and Katya, who specifically handle the social events), but once you've talked to them a bit you realize that they are phenomenal people, every one of them. Galya is one of the sweetest people I've ever met, blonde Julia is super-friendly, brunette Julia is constantly helpful and has a fantastic smile, and Natasha is quiet but ultimately very caring.
