Positives are great location, clean, great decor for a hostel, even had a little balcony. The negatives are no electricity on Fri night & no hot water Sat morn (ridiculous!) Staying at a hostel you expect things to be basic but electricity, hot water are pretty much top of the list. Staff was well there's nothing we can do about it. Asked would we get a refund for 1 night as facilities not working but no. They said they would have to refund everyone & I agreed and said yes you should!!! Jennifer, from Ireland ~ 16th May 2012

The room for the breakfast is a little bit small, in the morning you have to wait a lot to have a table. The hostel is very modern, nice staff. The inconvenient is maybe that between 11 and 4pm you cannot acces the rooms because of the cleaning service. I met very nice people here hana, from Slovakia ~ 9th Apr 2012

Except the fact that one member of the staff was ABSOLUTELY awful (acting like I was a dumbass), the OOPS hostel is a fine place to stay. Also, be mentally prepared not to have hot water while showering... But the room is clean, the breakfast was fine and if you are lucky, you can have a room with a view on the Eiffel tower (from far away, but still!)! Denise, from France ~ 15th Jan 2012

This place needs a continuous maintenance and cleaning plan also a staff behavior-training. The wall outside my room cracked, bathroom is always dirty even after the cleaning lock down schedule (well, it might be the girl across me who brings her dirty sneakers to the shower everyday), staff is indifferent (front desk, breakfast attendant, every single one do not enjoy working there). I was disappointed with the lockout.The only available bathroom was in the room, so if someone else takes a long shower you are out of luck and late.There were no bed lamps and no lockers, no place to store things in the room except on the floor which obviously got quite crowded.Towels were cheaper to buy new than to rent.There was no ladder to get up to the top bunk of theh bed.
