An okay place to stay for a night or two but not the place you want to stay during all of your time in Kyoto. Didnt really have a proper commen room where people hang out. Location not very convenient, neither for Kyoto station nor for teh sightseeing. Showers were quite dirty and not really appealing. same with teh rooms, plus very npisy as it's clsoe to a main road and therefore windows can not be kept open at night. Ian, from Italy ~ 14th Apr 2009

The beds were extremely hard, hte matress was so thin that i didn't sleep the whole night. The pillow was also made out of beans or something, this was also hard and also added to the lack of sleep. However, the second and third night i found a very good hostel but it wasn't this one. I was very disappointed indeed! nicola, from Scotland ~ 28th Nov 2008
