One of the best hostels i ever stayed on my entire trip. the facilities are very modern, clean & stylish. the staff is really good, friendly and very helpful. feels like home with a lots of friends. and you are right in the heart of pubs, clubs, shopping, restaurants etc. Anja, from Germany ~ 17th Jan 2012

I stayed here twice, once in the twin and once in a dorm. One thing I would say about the twin is that it's on the busy side of the road so try to avoid this because we didn't sleep a wink. The only other comment I would add which is more relevant for people planning on staying soon is that it has moved to a new building and it is all new which is great but the place has not been ventilated and it has a very strong paint smell. Our Melting Pot is a great hostel. It's clean, in a great location, the staff are cute and very helpful - and best of all you cant help but meet other cool travelers. This was a super nice hostel! I was a bit skeptical when it came to Manila at first, I was only going to stay for 18 hours, waiting for my next flight and was a bit worried that it would be boring spending time there alone. But man, this hostel was great and everyone were friendly, I didn't feel bored at all and on the contrary felt very at home. I've lived in lots of different hostels around the world but never been to one as cozy as OMP and I must say that I'm very happy that I ended up there jeanette, from Sweden ~ 9th Oct 2011

By far the hostel's best feature is the staff. Everyone goes out of their way to be kind and helpful. I showed up with no plans for the week and they talked me through all of my options and created a fantastic journey. Melting pot was  fantastic.     Being a family of 6, we had a room to ourselves.  We particularly enjoyed the breakfast and the access to the pool.  On Sunday morning one of the owner took us to Church, a great experience.  After the service, he directed us to a nice local restaurant and helped us ordering what ended up being a great meal.   The only downside  was that we didn't have a key to move between the 18th and the 24th floor.
