Wir waren mit einer Klasse (15 Schüler) dort und alles lief prima. Es stimmt: es gibt dort Personal, das kein Wort Englisch versteht, aber wenn man wartet, kommt immer jemand (und sei es am Nachmittag), der es sogar recht gut kann. Alle waren sehr bemüht, höflich und sehr flexibel bezüglich der Zimmer und Betten. Der Kaffee beim "Frühstück" ist nicht so schlecht, und das Croissant...soooo schlimm ist es auch wieder nicht. They have two buildings, so you may not be staying in the one advertised. Our room had no windows and we shared a bathroom with 4 other family-filled rooms. The doors are extremely creaky and loud, could hear every person coming and going all night long. Breakfast left much to be desired - cream croissant in a wrapper and juice box delivered the night before. Not what I pictured from the advertised "bed & breakfast with room service." DO NOT STAY HERE!!!This should not be a "B&B" I stayed in Hostels which are suppose to be worse then this, with a better experience and a better location for cheaper money. There was only enough hot water for one shower and it had little water pressure.Also they say they give you breakfast....but you can get the same thing out of a vending machine down the street.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. Cheap and in the very center of Rome, don't expect much more, but it's best place you can get for this money. We had recurring problems with getting hot water in common bathroom on 3rd floor. Even though the boiler is new, it is rarely working properly. The neighborhood is inhabited mostly by immigrants who hang out on the streets most of the time, so it gives an unsafe feeling, but we didn't experience or see anything dangerous while staying in Overseas B&B. Hot water heater was broken the whole time. They tried to fix it, but it was no use. Also, they're using someone else's internet in the upper rooms (stealing it) so when it has problems, they can't fix it. This hostel was absolutely TERRIBLE!! My mother and I are very small women and this hostel was in a very bad, ghetto part of town. 100% truth- Upon checking in we asked the attendant if this was a 'safe neighborhood' and her response was, "Oh yes, it is very safe, but... don't go out really late at night and don't wear any jewelry." Unsafe part if town, did not feel comfortable staying there which is why we canceled our reservation and left. Directions were terrible.....we walked an hour before we found the place. No signs anywhere. Directions gave no landmarks. Not pleased at all. Not good area of town, felt unsafe. We took one look at the place and canceled our stay. We still had to pay for one night, but we didn't mind. We took the loss and found a better place to stay that actually worked out a lot better. Kayce, from USA ~ 24th Jun 2011
