The rooms of the hostel remind prison cells. When I got to my room around 1am, I found an English guy peeing right outside another room's door. I guess it does not attract the right crowd, if you do not identify yourself with behaviors like the above (aka your average UK scumbag) try your lack elsewhere. Dimitrios, from Greece ~ 2nd May 2012

That was the worst hostel I've ever been in my life. People were mostly rude, the space was unclean, there was no locker anywhere... People over there have no idea how to run a hostel - or to deal with people, for that matter. The guys who work in there are mostly foreigners who's english proficiency is not the best as well, I'd say, which made communication a bit harder. The hostel was really clean and very fun. It´s in a great location - close to downtown stuff and only blocks away from the Hop On Hop Off bus which takes you all over the best parts of Dublin. It´s also conveniently close to the Jameson Distillery.Overall, fun and very clean.Showers and bathrooms are good but there´s a lack of mirrors. The staff is helpful as well. We arrived at night but were well received. The dorm was simple but tidy, just the beds, no closet. Just two snags, light switchs were outside the dorm and the stairs are dreadful if you're carrying a heavy suitcase. The trip to Glendalough and Kilkenny was fun, the driver/guide was very enjoyable. Paddy's Palace was an ok place to sleep, thats about it... Not much to do in ways of a common room or long term accomodation... Staff whilst helpful they were very busy and waiting to be served took some time... Melissa, from Australia ~ 22nd Jul 2011

The staff was friendly, the room was clean, but sometimes the bathrooms were not the cleanest. The shower is one temperature and you constantly have to push a button to keep it on.
