A very nice hostel in the heart of Budapest. The location is very central, a few mintues walk from the metro station where all metro lines come together. The staff was very helpfull and nice and the location was very clean and quiet. At the district are many nice pubs and bars, so there are only a few minutes by foot. Pal's hostel is the best hostel we have ever stayed. The apartment we stayed had everything we need. We were impressed by the facilities in the kitchen with microwave, kettle, even oven and basic ingredients for cooking. The room is very spacious and clean. Location is great. We rented a 3 person de lux apartment by St.Stephen's basilica for 3 nights - good pricing, complete privacy, perfect location. A temporary home for your travel. Loved it! Pros: Great location, very spacious and well-furnished apartment, very good value Cons: Beds were pretty uncomfortable (flimsy mattress over particle board) and our apartment was over a wine bar/nightclub which got pretty noisy at night Overall a very positive experience - we're staying in the same place on our return trip to Budapest. Superb location. Right at the middle of the city center with a balcony viewing over the St. Basilica Church. Our room was on the 2nd floor and there is a pub around the corner downstairs so it is a bit noisy till midnight (much less noise with the windows closed). The reception is great.
