For a city as big as Berlin, there are better places to stay. Terrible wifi (that you have to pay 1 euro for), and the bar prices are inexcusably expensive (2.50 euro for a glass of water). For 5.50 euro, the breakfast is quite bad. I asked if they would print my ticket for me - they said no. I went to the Radisson down the street, where they printed it for free. I've seen the staff become agitated a few times too because there are too many people at the reception area. Would not recommend. Nasser, from USA ~ 9th Apr 2012

This hostel was soooo nice, it was more of a hotel and the location was great! Right off the Alexanderplatz metro entrance, also right next to the big tower.. The rooms and bathrooms were super clean and new and the beds were comfy, overall totally recommend Pangea!! Michelle, from USA ~ 14th Mar 2012

We stayed in room 508 which is very near a big door of glass, which closes very loudly. Perhaps it's an idea to do something about that. Another thing is that we had bad night rest on both nights even with our ear plugs in. It's written that after 10pm it should be quiet, but groups of youth that come back in the early morning shouting through the corridors is not very pleasant.
