the only good thing about this hostel was the location, as it was very close to the vatican. the facilities were disgusting. i had a priavte room. it was the dirtiest place i have ever stayed. our bathroom was gross, i never ended up showering there. our door didn't have a lock, so anyone could have come in at any time. they had lockers in the room but i never felt safe. the place was loud at night. it would have been more worth it to spend a little extra money and stay somewhere decent. DIsgusting, the worst hostel in my trip, besides my micro SD with all my pictures was stolen, the beds very uncomfortable, the smell terrible, i couldn´t even step in to the bathroom while i was there. susana, from Colombia ~ 3rd Jan 2012

The rooms are clean, however the shower areas and toilets need a lot of work.There is no ventilation, so everything feels damp all the time.The shower area is unisex, so its 1 room with 3 shower cubicles, which are way too small.The shower cubicles - you can't even stretch your hands out, so very hard to dry off and get dressed/undressed.Also, other guests end up leaving their underwear (usually briefs or boxers) hanging at the shower doors.VERY GROSS vilia, from USA ~ 25th Sep 2011

The only good points of this hostel are the receptionist and the location. The rooms aren't well kept, and the bathroom is a disaster. Its tiny (small would be an inprovement), and dirty. You cant really move inside the shower box, which you cant close either because its falling appart. Shower will flood if you take longer than 5 minutes. Only one wall plug working inside bathroom. Staff were amazingly helpful and lots of fun rooms were very neat and cleaned every day. Fantastic location, close to subway, Vatican and St. Peter's. I would definitely go back. Boryana, from Canada ~ 3rd Aug 2011
