This was just a whatever type of hostel. Not to terrible but also not great. I was in a room of 12 and only 1 shower...you can see how this may be troublesome. My main problem is that it was SOOO FAR from everything, Berlin is very big so I would really have to be in the metro for at least 20-25 mins to get anywhere interesting. Plus the metro stops running at around 11:30. Not a bad place but wouldn't stay here again. sara, from USA ~ 19th Aug 2011

So my friend and I were originally staying in a hostel across town and couldn't reserve another night on short notice so we checked around and found Rixpack online. When we got there, the area looked sketchy and the hostel from the outside didn't look great, but don't judge a book by it's cover. The staff there were so helpful and fun to hang out with and the people that stayed there were a hoot! Wish I could have stayed another night, but had to move on in my travels.
