A good choice in Petra/Wadi Musa. The breakfast is large and generous, they can make fair-priced packed lunches, the dorm rooms are spacious and do not have bunk beds, and the staff is very helpful. I definitely recommend it! Stefan, from USA ~ 17th May 2012

Stayed 3 nights in the dorm and was very content. Great people run the place, and the location is perfect for being in the heart of town Petra entrance is a nice 15-minute walk. Only complaint would be the wall that separates the dorm area from the breakfast area, which provides very little noise insulation. The problem is not the thin plywood but that it does not fully reach the ceiling...that could (and should) be easily fixed. Charles, from USA ~ 26th Apr 2012

Very nice place! The owner is amazing and very helpful.Very good breakfast.Unfortunately one of the dorm room is too close to the kitchen with a very tiny wood wall and people starts to come for the breakfast at 6:30 and they waked us up.But in this way you can enjoy the beautiful Petra all day long! eros, from Italy ~ 14th Mar 2012

Gail and Ibrahim are very helpful in providing visitors with info they need. Friendly spot. Good breakfast. Not super close to the site, but really not that far. A rare place (for Jordan) where you can get straight up info. I also had a great time on the tour they arranged. All round good value for money. Nathan, from Canada ~ 8th Nov 2011

I can only recommend Saba's if you go to Petra and you are backpacking. Gail and Ibrahim were such a fun and good company and adviced me well. Their basement dorm room, is for six people, but it is really big and was clean. They do a nice breakfast and were so nice to get up an earlier, when I had to leave at six for Wadi Rum. The hostel is within walking distance from Petra, but it is still 20min to the entrance. I enjoyed the walk, but if you are too tired, there are loads of taxis.
