Sir Toby's Hostel in Sydney, Tschechische Republik

A clean, nice place with kind staff. I stayed at the cheapest room I could find and was blown away with what I got. The breakfast was OK with a nice selection, if a little expensive. The place is a little far away from the main train station (3-4 km if memory serves) if you're set on walking around everywhere like me. I hear there are public transports with which you can get quite close to the place, though. There are PCs available for net surfing and supposedly a Wi-Fi, which didn't work then

Thanks for your review. We love to hear how we did and we love to improve. I'm sorry you thought the breakfast was expensive. Most people think 5 euros for all-you-can-eat breakfast including drinks is a great deal. Let us know what could have been better. I apologize for the Wifi not working. We really try and keep it strong and running all the time. We are working on it now and it should be working soon. Hope to see you again!

What a cool find! The location is not great for seeing "the sights" of Prague, but there are easy ways for getting into the city within minutes. Most of us walked the distance once or twice and was no problem! Great character, fun people, and you CAN'T beat the outdoor patio, kitchen space and basement bar. I may have spent just one night at Sir Toby's, but I'm glad to say it's been one of the best hostel experiences I've ever had. There are wonderful people to meet - and yes, this includes the staff. Speaking of which, I also appreciate the fact that the staff will bend over backwards to satisfy every whim a particular guest may have. The latter may sound like an understatement, but believe me, it's what separates the good hostels from the best. This is definitely a place worth recommending. Robert, from Belgium ~ 22nd Sep 2011
