the hostel was advertised as close to the centre of Brighton but was more than a 20 min walk away. the hostel had double booked the 2 bunks that we were assigned, which meant that at 4.30 in the morning we were moved to another dorm room, disturbing guests in both dorm rooms. This hostel was extremely disappointing. It seems to be where people come to party, which is fine but the noise was absolutely disgraceful. The staff waited till 4am to tell a group of guys to be quiet. They were swearing, throwing bottles on the street etc. There was no bin in the bathroom ensuite, the doona covers do not get changed, there are no lockers in the room, the rooms were very cold. Staff (receptionist) need more customer service traning. They are not friendly, and not welcoming. Fresh duve cover shall be provided not used, you need curtains for the windows on each rooms. apart from that all is good. Nadege, from Sweden ~ 23rd Aug 2011
