St Andrews Tourist Hostel in Shepparton, Schottland

Wasn't a big fan.It was pretty average, but not set up as well as some.The staff were not very efficient.One guy from our room had been moved out of his room the night before (he came back for the evening to find a note on his door.) Then the staff mixed things up the next night by giving his 'new' bunk away.Just not organized at all.Over all ok apart from that.Run down a bit, one of the three showers not working, drawers in kitchen broken, etc.

It's not normal that we have to move people after they've checked in. However, we had to re-arrange a couple of people at the weekend as we had a large group booking due to arrive, and had to allocate the whole party to 3 dorms. The damaged shower head in question is being replaced presently.

great time here!the people were lots of fun - especially the staff - and made me feel comfortable the entire time.great location next to the bus station and town center - definitely recommend for a relaxing stay in st. andrews. VICTORIA, from USA ~ 18th May 2011
