The hotel was very central Varanasi which very congested. Very cheap but the rooms reflect this.Rooms very noisy and the sheets dirty.The room did have TV but only 1 english channel so not much use.The food on offer was basic and we found it quite expensive. They did have free internet on the roof and helped to book tours of the local area, though you may find them cheaper if you ask around.Overall great if you are backpacker, if not stay out of town which is much more serene. I had a very good time at Subh Laxmi Guest House. The staff is friendly, the food is good and it has a very good location - close enough to all the sights, but well located in a more relaxing area with a street that is not so chaotic as the rest of the city. This guest house is run by a lovely family. We felt very comfortable in our stay. The staff is very helpful and provide good city tours among other services and give advice to avoid being scammed.
