Pretty damn good, very clean. don't let the look of the stairs to the place fool you. Cute receptionists... lol the only real gripe would have to be the bunk beds. The guy sleeping above me was a tosser and turner, and the beds made every toss and turn very well known. If these were upgraded to sturdier beds, I would give this place an A+ Dawson, from USA ~ 23rd Sep 2009

The hostel consists of two top floors (3rd and 4th) of an apartment building. There is no elevator, which means caryying the luggage on your own. The good thing is that the staircase is rather wide and that the steps are not steep. The layout of both floors is similar: there are dorms and a common area which serves both as a kitchen and a living room. Showers, sinks and toilets have been split into separate rooms. This hostel was in a GREAT location, nice staff, and really really cheap drinks, so there was fun to be had without going out and spending tons of money. However, I would NEVER stay here again, it was filthy. As soon as you walk in, the entire place smells like vomit. Nothing is very clean, and the rooms are disgusting. BOTH of my friends got bit by BEDBUGS and other guests reported the same thing. Way to expensive for how dirty it was. Could not be in a better location!! Great party atmosphere. Vodka shots for 20 Roubles!! It was more run-down than I had expected and some of the rooms are tiny. Showers are pretty bad - hot water is rare, there's little pressure and the showerheads are hand-held. Julia on reception (and the other staff) is amazing! Always smiling and incredibly helpful! Fantastic location (the laundromat just down the road is worth a visit regardless) but it's let down by the general state of repair (bathrooms/toilets especially) and the fact that only one of the staff members seems to know anything about the town. Morgan, from England ~ 8th Jun 2009
