The Florida Hotel by Ibiza Feeling in Melbourne, Spanien

Staff very nice and friendly. Can´t fault them really. However security is pretty bad. People from other hostels walking it out and a lot. My room was extremely hot to the point i actually collapsed. The cleaning ladies were lovely but my room was dirty on arrival. What appeared to be a blood stain on the wall. They said when I booked that the pool down the road was free to use but when i arrived the staff told me that you must buy food/drinks to use it which should have been explained earlier.

Hello Jenna, Thanks a lot for visiting our hotel. I am sorry for any inconveniences caused in realtion to cleanliness. However, this year we had problems to get better (more proefessional) staff, - but we are working on it! I am sorry to read that you did not know the details on the pool. Nevertheless there is a very detailed description on this theme on our main page on hostelworld.com: "At present there is no swimming pool within the hotel premises, however, our guests are welcome to use the outdoor pool at a neighbouring hotel (free of charge), located only a one minute walk away from the entrance of Hotel Florida. The pool is open during the summer only, usually from June to September inclusive, but exact opening and closing dates depend on the opening period of the neighbouring hotel. Conditions for use of the pool: It is obligatory for all our guests to buy and consume food or beverages at the pool bar. Food or beverages brought from outside the pool bar are not permitted for consumption within the premises. Guests use the pool at their own risk. All children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times when using the pool. The pool is for the benefit of all guests, - any person misusing these facilities will not be invited back. "
