clean bathrooms, near an MRT station, free continental breakfast and free use of internet. it's just that you can hear the noise from the streets at night. it rained hard on our 2nd day and there were leaks on the ceiling and wall. if you're not picky and would want to stay in a budget hostel, the hive is definitely for you ;)

Due to we are so luck to live a new room, that the room is clear, comfortable. The air-con is cool enough. But maybe the people who live in the room next to us or the soundproof is not good enough. The noise and sound of open and close kept bother me at night. Anyway, I think it's a good impress to live in the Hive.

i think the staff should focus on the bathroom / shower cleanliness..i don't see this one cleaned regularly..the staff are nice people & the location is good enough..character of the hostel is cool but i think there will be more things to improve like the interior of the rooms, AC, lighting, bed cushions and more. A have fun with this hostel because of the people I met and the security is fair enough. Thanks for being part of the HIVE and more power to you guys!!!

During my journey, She was carefree with lodging . it has a good atmosphere.and very cool and clean~ There was only a little way from Boonkeng MRT, so very convenient for transportation.

Hostel not bad. Pros - Good location close to MRT, AC in room, free internet, reasonable beer at reception. Cons - Crappy bed (unless you like getting violated by springs), blinds in room sucked, free "breakfast" pretty marginal. I'd maybe stay again though.

The hive hostel is very convenient, accessible and strategically located. It is just 5 minutes walk from Boon Keng MRT Station. From there you can reach any places in Singapore already. There are also bus stops one just beside and another one opposite the hostel. The hostel is also within 5 minutes walking distance from Mustafa Center, a 24 hour shopping mall where you can buy cheap souvenirs and items you can bring home for your friends. The place is accessible since it is near the MRT station. You can easily go to places like Little India and Chinatown. The staff are very accommodating and helpful in answering our queries. However, we noticed that the main door at the back alley rooms is frequently open. This can be an issue of security. Nevertheless, I will recommend this place to other travelers. =)

i have made a great choice!! The hive at 269 lavander st. is simply the best!! thanks to spencer, the nice receptionist!! he's so accomodating and very patient. This is my first time in Singapore and the weekdays staff makes my vacation awesome!! spencer and the beautiful girl on the reception deserves a tap on a shoulder, really a good job peeps!! i even extend my stay for additional 5 days!!
