We had a great time there,the staff was very friendly. Its only a couple of minutes to the city center by bus. Even a 24h supermarket is 8 walking minutes away. We would come back at anytime Moritz, from Germany ~ 22nd Jul 2009

Rooms're very comfortable, the toilets and bathrooms on the contrary a bit poor. Kitchen messy and building alltogether a bit worn out. For the price a place you can stay quit alright, close to busstops, train stop, city center and two wonderful gardens (Sefton Park and Calderstone Park). I really loved this place and will definitely stay again when I return to Liverpool. The location is ok... it's out of the city centre BUT an easy bus ride to the city centre. I was confused on which one to catch from the center to there but going into the centre was fine. REALLY CLEAN and well maintained. Loved the full size kitchen and really friendly staff. Awesome place to stay. The staff was really friendly, the rooms were nice, it was a very reasonable price, the breakfast was good, and it was about a two minute walk to a bus stop. Would definitely recommend this to anyone if you are staying in Liverpool. Thomas, from USA ~ 16th Mar 2009

It was just wonderful, except for location. BUT, I don't mean the location is terrible. It would take just 5~10 mins from city centre by bus. I was always walking, so the distance was a little bit inconvenient. That's all. I am sure you can fine The Old Dairy is more than hostels.
