The South Beach Hostel in Miami, United States

Alain and Duan -if i spelled it right- are amazingly great, the girl behind the reception was really slow, so that´s why the staff gets a good recommendation in stead of an exellent one. Location is really good, 5 min walk to the beach and in a street full of party life and nice restaurants/bars. You are definetly going to have fun there. Nice breakfast as well and very clean. I was very disappointed in my stay here. It took 45 minutes for me to check-in, then they give me a dorm room to myself instead of the 2-bed private I paid $55 for! Further, the outlets in the ladies bathroom did not work, so I had to curl my hair in my room with no mirror. Felt like I was in a 3rd world country not Miami! :-/ Stephanie, from USA ~ 9th Nov 2009

It is a good place to relax and to go to the beach. Also staff is very friendly and helpful. Besides, it is possible to be picked up from airport with free shuttle. Ocean Drive and enormous number of excellent shops are about 5 min by walk. Valeriya, from Russia ~ 3rd Nov 2009

Nice place. great staff. good breakfast. perfect location (very close to Nikki bar!!!!! and "Mansion") the beach is only in 2 blocks!!!! close to the road with all these fancy brand clothes (this is for someone who likes expensive shopping: ZARA, MANGO, Sephora, Dolche gabana ect) but I didn't like our bathroom. It was always busy and no hot water. The room was so so. No mirror and no chairs. Nothing...At least it was clean. There is a bar with happy hour from 4 till 8 p.m. beer(Corona, bud l Irina, from Russia ~ 5th Oct 2009
