The Surf Shack Bar, Grill and Hostel in Other Taiwan, Taiwan

There was a mix up with the booking. We got the twin bed instead of the double. It seems this could be a problem with the booking sites double booking us though. Im not sure and dont think the staff new either which was a bit embarrasing for all. The twin room was fine though and probably better as its on the top floor with good access to the shared toilet/shower and roof terrace. The wirelss didnt work as the signal was very poor! There is reasonable western food available. OK for what you pay Martin, from England ~ 7th Sep 2009

This not a "Surf Shack" Sure, a ten minute drive through heavy trafic will take you to Back Bay...not one of the greatest beaches in Taiwan. It is on a main street...wedged between similar shops. I'm a resident, not a tourist. My wife...the real boss...was not pleased. Thomas, from USA ~ 23rd Aug 2009
