Best Hostel I've ever stayed in. Despite being there for only 5 nights, the staff and I became fast friends. They give everyone there a free drink every night when they turn the front of a hostel into a bar, but it's more like a living room with a big family and a few friends. It really encourages everyone to sit down together and socialise in a way that most hostels don't - and when you want to sleep, it's easy to do that too. Samuel, from USA ~ 18th Feb 2012

Overall great experience, very Japanese which I always prefer. The people there were lovely as were the staff very friendly and outgoing people. However the only negative comment is the lack of shower facilities, even two additional showers would have been good,also maybe a few more heaters as the building is old and gets very cold. Just remember that you have to pay in cash.Also the breakfast is cute but it's not really worth the price. Also, the staff lives there in a separate area but use the same kitchen and gathering areas so it feels a little like you're crashing in their house. Emily and Alper, from USA ~ 24th Aug 2011
