Tourist Hotel Lucerne has been, by far, the best place I've stayed at while traveling in Europe! The staff is extremely friendly and incredibly helpful, the facilities are clean and visually appealing, and the free breakfast was fantastic. This is our favorite hotel, as long we traveling from london to rome, i recommended this hotel to all traveller, and don't foget to visit jungfraujoch mountain, swiss everthing is expensive, but there a a small market near the chapel bridge, you can buy fruits, cheaper than at supermarket, tourist information office near the train station, you will never get lost in swiss, just contact the staff at tourist information office, switzerland... Bathrooms were a mess, water all over, garbage all over.. we have never stayed anywhere where we had to share a bathroom and probably never will again. While it offers lower cost accommodations then the hotels in town, for us at almost 160 a night in U.S. money it was well below standards in anything we have ever stayed in for that price. It's a bit of a walk from the train station to the Tourist Hotel. The hotel staff is nice and breakfast is included along with a cappuccino machine for all-you-can-drink in the morning. It's close to the old part of town that you'll most likely want to walk around in. The hotel has discount tickets to Pilatus if you want to go there. We went to Rigi instead, which was great with excellent views and some nice paths around the mountain complete with cows and cowbells. I'd stay there again proba Devin, from USA ~ 11th Jul 2011
