Hi. I don't know why they have alll this bad reviews. I stayed there with my girlfriend and it was ok. The only thing that was wrong is taht the staff is formed only from 2 members and they manage hard all the people that come, the cleaness and all the otherthings. The bed are acceptable but if they want to respect their policy they should change the bed because they make lots of noise. In rest the atmosphere and the way we were treated was ok. Looking for substandard accomodation at a high price in Edinburgh ? The West End Hostel has it all ! Basically the worst hostel I've ever been too. The rooms are cramped, with 14 beds where you'd expect no more than 6, there is no room for bags or even to walk between the beds. The bedsheets are a brown-yellow. The floor is littered with cans and bottles. The showers are brown-coloured, mouldy so that you are actually more dirty after you've stepped in the shower than before. There was even som
