World Scholar House in Taipei, Taiwan

More so a guest house, this place isn't too bad for what you pay. Its common room is pretty decent with TV and DVD player. Bit of a walk from the metro (about 10-15mins). Did find it a bit weird that there wasn't any staff for check in etc...although it is run like a guest house - so the tennants are responsible for looking after the place. Its a great place to meet fellow travellers too. Bathrooms however, are pretty shabby, and quite dirty/wet at the best of times. Still a pretty good pl Tim, from Australia ~ 20th Jan 2009
