Our stay was good for the most part, except for a few things. The cover on one of the duvets had suspicious white marks on it. Do these get washed!? Both a shower and a toilet on our floor had a 'closed for maintenance' sign for the entire four days, this left only one of each for an entire floor - not great for $90/night. On our last day we asked the receptionist to book a shuttle to the airport. She was very rude and abrupt to us, while she giggled away with the staff. Cleanest hostel ever, it is like a library, very quiet and as many 50-60 yr olds as 20 somethings. Don't expect to meet anyone, or even talk to anybody. Good location, awesome kitchens and movie room. Jason, from USA ~ 11th Nov 2009

Best hostel by far in Wellington and I've stayed in a few. It really clean and bright and not cramped. Staff are great really friendly and helpful. Central, clean, safe... I have stayed in wayyyyyy worse! There's a big, nice and clean kitchen (even at 11 on a saturday night it was still clean), and a giant TV room. A bit too big thought, I like smaller hostels better as you can meet people easilier. Staff was ok, nothing special. We were very happy with the accommodation, We felt warm and comfortable, and if the room was available we would have stayed longer.I would recommend anyone looking for a place to stay with many exciting things to do, it was so central we could walk everywhere. perfect location, clean but a bit soulless. walls are very thin and in room 512 there was a constant sound in the early morning of something like a lift or conveyor belt - not exactly sure, as we were some way from the lift. Jeremy, from New Zealand ~ 8th Jun 2009
