YMCA Hostel Basel in Basel, Switzerland

Best hostel I've ever stayed in (and I've traveled the world). It's super clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Every single one of them. Excellent location. This is not a party hostel, which was just fine with me. I met some really cool people who were also staying there. It was fun enough just hanging with those folks. Sharon, from USA ~ 10th Nov 2009

Rooms on the 1st floor should have windows that open all the way...it got way too hot at night. But, then people would probably go on the roof. So, Maybe install fans in those rooms? The place was great, the staff was great. My concerns/comments have to do with some people who stayed that were NOT courteous at all towards the other tenants in many areas.
