Great, and chilled out hostel - relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They also DON'T play cheesy pop unlike most hostels in China, which is a relief. An excellent alternative to Monkey Jane's if you don't want loud music late into the night. Rooms are a little small though. But it's pretty cheap and the food is great. A wonderful Hostel, The best We've stayed in in China!! Though just to warn you all loos are chinese style! ie squat and droppers!! The staff were so lovely and even the lady who did the laundry who didn't speak much english always said hello and had a lovely smile! If I return I will stay here again much MUCH longer!! My favorite hostel in China!!! Great location (down an alleyway, so make sure you dont walk past it the first time), great staff, clean rooms and everything you could need. My favorite thing about this place was that it had a pool table outside!!! how fun is that! I really enjoyed everything i met there and hopefully at some point in my life I'll return to Yangshou!!!! We really enjoed the nights at this hostel, the Staff speaks a very good english and the hostel is next to the West Street. If we cam back to Yangshou we will spent the nights at this hostel!!! Martin, from Germany ~ 23rd Jul 2009

Best hostel in a long time! No newspapers and western toilet, but hey ur in China and thats luxury.. More importantly: Cleanness, staff, common area and location etc was great. If ur staying in another hostel i Yangshou youre stupid ;) Even good music hehe. andreas, from Sweden ~ 24th May 2009
