Lage perfekt in einer typisch französichen Gasse mit schönen Cafes und Bars. Supermarkt neben an, ein Markt zum Schlendern und Metro in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Zimmer sind einfach. Wer ein Zimmer raus zur belebten Gasse hat, sollte sich auf Lärm bis 2h einstellen. Für die Duschen solltet ihr Badelatschen mitnehmen. Zum Frühstück gab es Kaffee, Cacao, Orangensaft, Cornflakes, Marmelade, ein Brötchen und ein Croissant. Alles in allem würde ich wieder dort übernachten. Gerhard, from Germany ~ 8th Jun 2009

Location is great. It's already near the major Paris attractions and its very close to the Metro. This is a good hostel for the younger crowd. There's a lot of restaurants on the same street that stay open til the wee hours of the morning. That's our only complaint about the place. A bit out of the way from the sights, but very near a metro station, so not a big worrier .The area in which the Y&H resides is known as the Latin Quarter, which can get fairly busy and loud at night. But really great if you want to partake in the night life (you don't have far to go after hitting up the bar). Staff were helpful, and breakfast was included. Carrie, from USA ~ 1st Jul 2009

Staff was okay, either friendly and not helpful or helpful and not friendly. Location is great if youre into bars and student restaurants, but its a FAR walk from any tourist site. Luckily, the train system in Paris is very good. Its pretty clean, but overall not a great hostel. Terrible showers and very uncomfortable beds. Landon, from USA ~ 6th Jun 2009
