Youthhostel Zurich in Zurich, Switzerland

Everything was quite good, except for the Asian cook, who served dinner on the evening of Nov 1. The dinner was 20CHF, but the receiptionist charged me only 17CHF(the same price as the day before) by mistake, the cook instead of telling me frankly the mistake, served me the food with quantity obviously less than it should be. Later on when I asked him if I can have some more, he immediately told me I had to pay 3CHF more, because the dinner was 20CHF. My god, I bet nobody would care to pay 3CHF HONGBIN, from China ~ 3rd Nov 2009

it was a good stay overall. its clean and relatively comfortable .. the only thing i can complaint about is the quality of the pillows.. it must have felt like it was filled 1/3 only.. it would be great if that little problem can be ajourned.. makes the travelling crowd appreciate much more of the place. Is a little far from the city center/old town, it will take some 20 min by tram or bus to get there.. but for the price is worth it... it includes a fantastic breakfast...!!! Doris, from Nicaragua ~ 24th Sep 2009

Nice hostel, a bit far from the city but is a tram ride away... Internet and wifi isnt free but isnt too expensive.. I would stay again - no real atmosphere in the hostel though, it was more just a bed and a building.. David, from Australia ~ 2nd Aug 2009

Very nice place to stay. The only problem is the location. Its a bit far from the central area and you can not go on foot, its hard. But the transport link is good.The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are good, clean and the area is very quiet. I would stay there again surely...
