Lovely man and lovely food and social occasions. Giovanni will cook for you at the drop of a hat and do anything to make you feel welcome. Really does feel like living in his 'house' and he will give you fantastic information about what to see and how to stay safe. Beds very comfy and he may even take you out on his motorbike!!

We absolutely loved Giovannis! He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time: He sat us down with a map and drew out where everything was. Hes very passionate about Napoli which rubs off on the people staying in the hostel. And he prepared home cooked Italian food to die for! If you want to have a great time, I definitly recommend this hostel.
Giovanni's hostel was a great experience. Giovanni explained us everything about Naples, where you reach all the sightseeings, where you find the best pizza and many things more...you will feel like in a big family at this hostel..Sometimes in the evening Giovanni is cooking and offers wine for free...One of our best stays! I LOVED GIOVANNI'S HOME. Actually I love Giovanni! I went to Naples with a buddy of mine, and the second we entered his house, we were met with friendly smiles and music and laughter, it was great. After hours were perfect too because there was an established rule that one had to keep it down after 10, so we got the sleep we needed to give us energy for a day out in beautiful Naples. Toilets were very clean, and there was a really good bar just next door with the most amazing ricotta fried bread ever!! Highly Recommended, I had the best time of my life in Italy and I can't wait to go back! :D
If I could only actually talk yo you, the person reading this review, I still would not be able to convey to my wonderful experience! Not only is Giovanni a Naples historian, a chef de cuisine, musician, loving and passionate man when it comes to your visit. He is also a friend in every sense. Throw away your guide book and every misnomer of Naples, because my eyes have been opened to what it means to be welcomed into another persons life and home. I will be back.
