The place was definitely well-kept, clean, and surprisingly nice for its low cost. Unique atmosphere with tents, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and friendly staff. However, I have two sticking points: the location is terrible. Sure, it's close to the beach, but it's very far from Aqaba and the Israeli border. I was not entirely oblivious to this -- I knew it was not in downtown Aqaba -- but I didn't realize it was *this* far; the Saudi Arabian border must have been right around the corner. A

Location is great for coral reefs and snorkelling BUT beach is not too great and you need to cross a new major road (still not much traffic). Lot of building work round about.
