Location is great. Some top eateries dowm these back alleys. The best and fullest baguettes at top of lane leading to hotel. Owmer amd her mum great characters.

although we booked and paid thru the internet nobody was expecting us when we arrived and we had to go to another hotel

booked a small room ($16) but when we arrived, they mysteriously only had 1 room left at $20 (despite an email confirming which room we wanted) but the room was quite nice. We were quoted $12 for bus to Phnom Penh but we found that Sinh Cafe was cheaper, $10 for direct bus with inside toilet.the internet and minibar are cheap but book your tours elsewhere - and don't tell her you can get it cheaper or she will take the huff with you.
Pros: - the girl that works there is friendly and helpful - the location is good - the room was clean Cons: - I did not have hot water for the shower most of the time. - the other women that work there weren't as friendly - people sleep in the lobby area so you have to wake people up when you get back after dark or leave early - I would look for a better tour agency than the one that they use as they were late, had bus problems, and weren't the best guides.

The lady who owns the hotel is great, she is very persistant with making you book things through her and with most of the trips its not a bad idea. Train tickets are cheaper round the corner at the train office. The lady has a good heart and adds a bit of entertainment to the hotel. Oh and their are only 3 large rooms, so you will probably get a smaller one. This is not a scam just there are more small rooms.
