Was our worst stay in China!! We arrived to find we only had one shower to each level, NO toliet paper.to top everythign off we saw a cleaner lay out rat traps!!! Staff didnt know much english either.

We didn't get the rooms we booked (and I suspect they didn't recieve the online booking at all). They also only allow showering from 9am to 10pm... quite annoying if you are having a night out and then catching an early flight the next morning. A little difficult to find and not near anything particularly interesting.

A problem place if you don't speak Chinese!

There is no heat, but there is plenty of plush comforters to keep you warm. That is because of Kunmings year round spring like weather. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

This hostel wasn't particularly quiet but then again where is in China! There is a midnight curfew on the TVs in rooms which some Chinese tourists decide to stick to religiously by having them on full blast till exactly midnight. Also, whilst we were out our stuff was moved (without warning) into another room. The location is quite good though
