We stayed on the Hotel from 3-22. of january. our room was only cleaned 3 times and toilet 2 times. besides the cleaning that we hoped was better it was nice hotel and locations

One of the friendliest places you could stay, the staff are fantastic they can not do enough for you. They even arranged a birthday cake for my husband's birthday which was a surprise for me too. The hotel is right on the beach and they have sunbeds and umbrellas that you can use free of charge. There are plenty of things to do in the area like hire boogie boards and surfboards, go to the turtle farm and Galle is nearby too. Al in all an excellent beach resort if you just want to laze on the beautiful beach and do nothing all day long. The only problem we had was with the price of the room. The prices advertised on here are incorrect and for an air conditioned room it is 4000 Sri Lankan Rupees. The price on here is just for a room with a fan. I did explain the error and they are trying to put it right. The room was still a bargain at that price, it was very clean and with a nice comfortable bed and mozzie net. We would defineitly go back to Ritas!

we were very disappointed when we arrived at ritas to find out after being ignored for ten minutes that the room that we had booked 8 weeks earlier one of the new ones with new bathroom and aircon and sea view at $23 dollars a night not cheap by sri lankan standards was not only occupied but they had no alternative room available and showed us a dirty unmade room with no view and no aircon we had booked for an 11 night stay but left the same day and went elsewhere ritas was the only one of 10 different guesthouses that we had any reason to complain about

The staff were friendly and very helpful, in all matters (ex. booking trips, using the phone and internet). Especially Adgit and Granuka!! We would all go back many times.
