A very friendly host who put himself out to be helpful and informative . He gave us pleanty of space but was always there when needed.

REALLY bad location, it is actually farther from osaka than kyoto is. Its a 25min hike from the closest JR station (if you have the pass) and is a 45 min train ride into town. Also they have a 11pm curfew, so you cant even go into the city for dinner without worrying about getting back (since its a long commute). The staff was really weird towards us... it seemed they were mad at us .. for no reason and treated us very rudely. Overall, it was a big waste of money, and it would be better to just sleep at MediaCafes in the city (which are actually pretty good!)... heck even sleeping in a trainstation would be better.

This was my second time here. It's incredibly easy to get to Kansai from here so for that it's great. I had booked online a few days ahead of time, but my booking didn't come through so I had to pay full price (I'm not great at negotiating in Japanese). It's quiet, clean and convenient. I love the BBQ place down the street. I'll probably go back some day.

Quite difficult to get to. Not really that convenient for travelling to Kansai airport. We were not able to locate the lodge using the directions on the website. We got very lost and walked a kilometre in the wrong direction. The directions on Hostel World do not provide information on getting to the hotel after leaving the station. Could you please update these with the correct information?

The worst thing about the hostel is its location!!! Everything else is ok.
