I stayed in both private and dorm room while I was visiting Kyoto. All necessary amenities were provided. The stay is fine but I should mentioned that the private room I stayed in smelled like wet carpet with chemical treatment. I actually enjoyed the dorm room more except for one night that the AC turned itself off and overheated the room.
