I was alone for a job interview in singapore and Mt emily made me feel secure and very comfortable. The location was strategic and staffs are friendly and helpfull.Free internet and coffee also very advantageous for me. I would love to stay again at mount emily even if I already have a place to stay in singapore :)

A hotel-hostel combo, I found the staff friendly and courtious and the location good with orchard road in easy walking distance! The free internet is excellent with ample computers available 24 hours a day! I would reccommend Hangout @ Mt Emily to anyone on a budget travelling through Singapore!

Really nice hostel, good location and Little India is an easy walking distance away. Staff are pretty helpful, free internet and breakfast, the whole place is nicely kept, modern and new. Only problem I found was that my bed linin was dirty (they don't seem to change the blankets between guests) but I told reception and they gave me some clean stuff.
Very modern clean hostel with great showers and facilities. Free internet with about 8 machines is handy.
