Great location, right at the edge of A1A beach front - perfect! The staff was wonderful and very nice. This would have ben my first stay in a hostel, but I chose the sleep at Hampton Inn because the smell in the room made me ill, but that's just me. Residents seemed very happy. They consisted of a young hip crowd of business people and international travellers. For rock bottom rates, stay here - $20/night. I need more time to get used to the hostel concept, but I will stay here in the future

I was twice in this Hostel! I love it! It is a small Hostel at the beach! Nice and clean rooms, 2 TV rooms, 3 kitchens, a garden and it is easy to come to Downtown, Lauderdale by the sea or Las Olas (are the main attractions in Fort Lauderdale) The Staff is friendly and try to help you with everything. By the time I was there the most people who stayed where like a small family, and within the first days I was in between of them! I mean people/travellers change but the rest is still gre

The rooms were nice enough and there was a shower and a closet right in the room which was nice. However there were quite a few people who lived there rather than the regular hostel crowd of people who are traveling. My second night there a new woman came into the room who had been kicked out of another. I believe that she had some type of mental illness. I felt like I was in a homeless shelter rather than a hostel.

Hostel is really relaxed..so if you want to get rest it is perfect place..but not much fun..beach is very nice..and staff was kind..
