When it comes to hostel rooms in Malaysia, there are many different types to choose from. These include private rooms, dorm rooms, double rooms, and more. Keep in mind that not all of these room types will be air conditioned; some may just have a fan.
Another form of accommodation growing in popularity in Malaysia is the Hometel. This is a type of accommodation where local Malay people rent out their privately owned bungalows to tourists. The owner will also pick you up at the airport, bring you back to your room, and cook local dishes for you.
