John and Tom were very friendly, hospitable and helpful. They allowed us to leave our luggage at the hostel without extra charge when we travelled to other parts of Taiwan. The location is also very convenient because it is right across from the train and MRT stations. Great value!

I am back in taipei so im back at happy family hostel.i usually stay in the dorm rooms so im a bit more adventurous and tolerant than most.the dorm rooms are quiet and clean. there are two frosted windows so there is sunlight.each bed has little compartments in the headboard to put your watch, glasses, etc.there are also little curtains for privacy and there are small light for reading as well.it is a good value so i am very happy.it is better than most dorms at other hostels.

The Best Hostel in Taiwan !!! Best location - near the SubWay and the Train Station, free Internet and WiFi, very clean rooms and beathrooms, we met all the guest on the 5th floor and we watch tv than we went to eat and have some drinks - it was great ! The Owner - Mr. Lee - is your family in taiwan,so amazing friendly, he will take care and help you in anyway he can ! I recommend this place in 100%, and trust me - you will go back there again, just like i did !
happy familly hostel is a great place to stay when in taipei; the location is very convenient; close to everywhere; besides, the owner is so helpful in case you need anything or want to go somewhere;it not common to meet such a nice hotel owner available anytime; i definitly recommand this place; it is a very good deal and you get exactly what you paid for;two thumbs up!!
