great hostel in a very cultural part of Beijing right near tiananmen and beihai. had a wonderful time :) just wished the room had smelled a little better (there seemed to be an established smell of bo even when nobody was in the room). Electric outlets at every bed (I stayed in a 6 person room) were very convenient and the breakfast includes lots of delicious toast! Note--if you need a taxi, you need to tell them atleast an hour in advance. Also rented a bike from the hostel and went around the old hutongs--AWESOME time, recommend to anyone. Apple is very sweet :) I have stayed at Red Lantern in Beijing as well, and much prefer this hostel for location and service.

This hostel is situated on the best location in town, the staff is very friendly and helpfull, they speak English and the rooms are clean! We defenitely recommend this hostel to anybody who is looking for a good place to stay in Beijing!

Great hostel. Central location in a lovely Hutong with plenty of small shops and cafe's. Private room with aircon & shower - luxurious!
